Adopt a Galaxy package features:
Galaxy Certificate > see sample
Each certificate is inscribed with the recipient's name, the galaxy's astronomical name (the NGC number), and signed by an astronomer, curator, and archivist from Windowpane Observatory.
Personal letter > see sample
When you register, the galaxy recipient will immediately receive via email a Personal letter from one of our astronomers with a scientific profile of the galaxy. A signed, hardcopy of the letter will arrive in the mail with the Galaxy package.
Star Chart > see sample
The full-color custom-made Star Chart locates the exact position of the galaxy in the night sky, relative to the Big Dipper and North Pole. With this chart, the galaxy can be easily located without a telescope.
Personal Peace Prayer > see sample

Your contribution supports AZDOP's campaign for a U.S. Department of Peace as well as the science of astronomical discovery at Windowpane Observatory. The AZDOP Campaign is a grassroots, inclusive, nonpartisan, proactive, solution-oriented organization which supports the creation of a national Dept. of Peace which will research, articulate, and facilitate nonviolent solutions to domestic and international conflicts.
At Windowpane Observatory we are searching for comets, earth-crossing asteroids, and supernovae in far distant galaxies. We believe that finding our place in the universe can expand our awareness beyond the confines of this planet and give us a more cosmic point-of-view to cope with our daily challenges here on Earth. As we increasingly contemplate the ideal of “Peace on Earth, Peace in Space” from a galactic perspective, we become true Cosmic Citizens, ready to take our place as stewards of this precious planet.
AZDOP and Windowpane Obervatory are contributing all administrative fees. With the exception of postage and handling, all proceeds go to AZDOP and WPO.
